There is only one single constant in Century City… change. The crane in front of the hotel has been removed, the residential towers behind the hotel are being erected, construction on the subway station continues, and the dirt is being moved about to create new buildings at Constellation and Avenue of the Stars. There is even a rumor that one building may be demolished to bring a new and updated building into existence. But change isn’t just happening to our skyline. Inside the buildings, there is a major transformation happening right now. The renovation at 1801 Century Park East appears to be complete, the health club at the Twin Towers (Century Park Towers) has been opened and is quite a success, most of the stores down below the towers including Trimana Salad Got Soup have undergone facelifts or have even moved to new spaces, and The Lounge is about to open. These new amenities have each building scrambling to catch up by improving their tenant offerings. Watt Plaza at 1875 Century Park east is currently renovating the entire ground floor to remain competitive. That has necessitated reclaiming valuable space that includes the space occupied by Trimana. Taco Limon – Pizza Benne also owned by Trimana will continue at Watt Plaza but will have the most popular Trimana items folded into this location to continue to serve the area with healthy items that have been the hallmark of Trimana since 1994 when the restaurant replaced two bankrupt failing restaurants. Since that opening in 1994, Trimana has grown to 47 locations in Los Angeles.
"We are now being offered turn-key spaces that are built-out by other restaurant concepts that didn’t make it,” says Bijan Yadegar, co-founder of Trimana. "Some of the build-outs are in the millions of dollars that new operators found impossible to recoup in the competitive environment of food. We are currently repositioning our portfolio to take advantage of opportunities like the 15,000 square foot state of the art facility we are inheriting at the Metro Building downtown.” John Elisha, who has been in Century City since 1994 will be moving the corporate office into this newly acquired facility.
"The mall has so many new restaurants that have come on the scene that we decided to make our Century City offerings more efficient since the buildings have sought to reclaim space as enhancements to tenant amenities become necessary,” says John Elisha. "We are still offering all of the favorite dishes that have been the staple of Century City for over twenty-five years. The two remaining locations at 2049 Century Park East, and 1925 Century Park East will continue to provide in store dining as well as delivery to all of Century City.”
This consolidation will allow Trimana to provide all of the Fresh healthy choices by maintaining exceptional quality within a very tight efficient space layout. "Our chain of 47 stores throughout Los Angeles will continue to provide a consistent healthy experience to all of our patrons,” adds Bijan.
With so many current dietary restrictions of Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo, Keto, Adkins, and Pescatarian, Trimana continues to be one of the most comprehensive restaurants to offer food choices that satisfy all needs with only high-quality fresh ingredients. Catering is available for corporate meetings with wood fired pizza, tacos, huge assortment of fresh salads, sandwiches, or entrees. Breakfast or lunch can be booked in advance to show up just in time for your event or meeting.
